Creature Feature : Coatis 

 

When I was in Mexico with my family I witnessed this creature that looked like a racoon and a red panda all in one. We were feeding it Doritos and they were all scrambling and squealing to get them. I did not know what this creature was, it was until now that I googled it and found out that it was called a Coatis. This animal is adorable! Here are some interesting facts about Coati. There snouts are long, flexible and can turn 60° in any direction. There ankles are double jointed and can rotate beyond 180° when climbing down trees head first. And that is my Creature Feature for today.
