It all starts when Lucy Callahan gets struck by lightning. It destroyed some of her brain but also gave her amazing abilities with numbers. She now lives with her grandmother in an apartment. She hasn’t been to a public school since grade 2 and her grandmother wants her to go to middle school for one year when she could all ready be in college! She said she has to make one friend, read one book (that’s not a math text book). And participate in one activity. Easy right, or is it?
